Enjoy March Break on the Ice

Spring Break at The Rink

Come train over Spring Break at The RINK Training Centre.  We will be offering a skill development program that is designed to help players improve in a different area each day. Players will have the option to participate in any number of days of the week that they would like and work on skills they need to work on individually.

Each day will consist of:
  • 80 min of on ice instruction
  • 60  min of off ice instruction relating to the skill for the day.

The Skills offered through the week are as follows:

Monday –Stick Handling (working on the fundamental basics needed to play hockey)
Tuesday – Shooting (a combination of technique instruction and drills)
Wednesday – Power Skating (a technical breakdown of the stride to help power and   efficiency)
Thursday – Scoring (teaching players how to create more chances for goals)
Friday – 3 vs 3 (have some fun and play a fast paced controlled scrimmage)

All of our programs are developed by Dave Cameron (The RINK's Program Director and Head On-Ice Instructor and 15 year Edge of Excellence/Pursuit of Excellence Instructor). Each session, on ice and off ice will be delivered by one of our professional coaching staff.  Our goal in this week of sessions is to help instruct players how they can improve their game.
